I’m not trying to be a jerk and interrupt everyone savoring those last precious moments of summer, but...

Wanted to let you know we have just 7 fall weekends left in prime foliage (mid Sept - mid Oct).

After an incredible day spent enjoying the lake, I always look forward to the blue hour. There’s something just so calming about this time when the sky transitions into deep blues and purples. It’s my favorite part of the day, a moment to slow down and soak in the peacefulness.

Want to see the Northern Lights at peak fall colors in Door County this year? Me too!

Scientists say there will be the best Northern Lights display in 20 years and Rock Island State Park (directly across from Porte Haven!) is on the list of best places to view them. They say they'll be visible Sept/Oct/Nov. Peak fall colors in Door County are typically mid October.
