The 2026 Kiwanis holiday ornament celebrates Salmon-a-Rama, a 53-year Lake Michigan summertime tradition. Proceeds benefit dozens of community programs and services supported by the Kiwanis Club of West Racine. 🎄

Launched by Salmon Unlimited in 1974, Salmon-A-Rama has grown into one of the largest freshwater fishing competitions in the world. Held at Racine’s lakefront in July, the event attracts participants from 47 states and five countries who compete for trophies and cash prizes.

The ornament is $15 (cash only) and is available at the Racine County Visitor Center, 14015 Washington Ave., Sturtevant; open Tuesday through Sunday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Limited quantities of past years' ornaments are also available.

The City of Racine, Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department is giving away Milwaukee Brewers tickets on Wednesday, September 2 beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the PRCS office, 800 Center Street, Room 127, Racine.

Complimentary guest passes come in packets of two (2) for the Milwaukee Brewers vs. Chicago Cubs game on September 8 at 6:40 p.m. ⚾️

Guest passes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis to Racine County residents. Recipients must be a Racine County resident, age 18 or older, and provide a current photo ID.
