It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to Margaret Kerry, who passed away yesterday at the age of 97.

While generations of fans know her best as the live-action reference model who brought Tinker Bell to life in the 1953 classic Peter Pan, Margaret’s incredible talents reached far beyond Never Land. Her amazing career spanned decades as a gifted actress, dancer, voice artist, and radio host.

A 6.4 magnitude earthquake was reported approximately 118 km west-northwest of Mantua, Cuba, at 2:00 PM ET today. The quake was felt across portions of Central Florida, including the Orlando area and the region surrounding Walt Disney World Resort.

While there have been no reports of significant damage at Walt Disney World, guests and residents across Central Florida reported feeling the tremor this afternoon.

As a precaution, some attractions may remain temporarily closed while engineering and operations teams complete routine safety evaluations before returning to normal operation.
