Four-wheel drive, all-wheel drive, or tire chains are required for anyone driving on the Village of Sugar Mountain roadways. Conditions are not suitable for two-wheel-drive vehicles. Please reduce your speed, allow extra travel time, and increase your following distance. Use headlights in low visibility and stay alert for road crews.

Situated in building 10 at the top of Oma's Meadow on Sugar Mountain Resort, it offers the convenience of skiing in/out from our property. This unit has all the luxuries you need for a perfect mountain getaway, complete with open floor plan, balcony mountain views overlooking Oma's Meadow, queen bed, sleeper sofa, hardwood floors, upgraded appliances, flat screen cable TV, & WIFI. Sleeps 4. Our new clubhouse is now open for our guests to enjoy the heated indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, & fitness room. FIREWORKS ON TOP OF SUGAR MOUNTAIN

A mountain-top fireworks show, sponsored by the Village of Sugar Mountain Tourism Development Authority, viewed from Sugar’s 5,300’ peak begins around 9:15 p.m. The Summit Express chairlift runs July 4 from 7:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. for mountain-top fireworks viewing. Ticket sales for fireworks viewing lift rides end at 8:30 p.m. No mountain bikes after 5:45pm. Classic Highway will perform at the base lodge from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. and food and beverages are available at the mountain’s base. Beverages are also available at the summit.
