Season 5 in the books. And a bit of news. We have decided that we will be taking a break from utilizing our property as a vacation rental. We would like to sincerely thank all of our past guests for choosing our special spot to celebrate special occasions, or just escape from the world for a bit. If you have rented from us in the past, & wish to return, don’t hesitate to reach out & perhaps we will be able to accommodate you. Hoping that the memories that were made while you were here, stay with you forever 💕

As the leaves start to change, we need to prepare for the winter. Our restaurant’s closing day for the 2026 Season will be Saturday October 31st. The dock, along with our nationwide shipping, will remain open for fresh lobsters and lobster roll kits. MDI residents, don’t forget to bring your IDs in for that 10% off your dine-in orders until the end of the month.

Pumpkin Hike Grand Opening & Lighting
October 28th | 5–7 pm | Ellsworth Riverwalk

The Pumpkin Hike is returning to the Ellsworth Riverwalk Trail! In two weeks, get downtown for the grand opening and an evening stroll along the trail lined with glowing jack-o’-lanterns carved by community members.

Opportunities to participate and have your own pumpkin on the trail will be revealed soon!

Recently, a little magic appeared over Tidal Falls! A double rainbow stretched across the sky, bringing an extra splash of color to one of our favorite views.

There is something special about seeing nature in a new light. The way the sky shifts, the colors emerge, and suddenly, a familiar view becomes something entirely different. Even in the places we know well, nature still finds ways to surprise us.

Often, the most memorable experiences outdoors are the ones we never see coming. A rainbow appearing after the rain, a glimpse of wildlife along a familiar trail, or the first signs of a new season.

These little surprises invite us to pause and pay attention, reminding us that no matter how many times we return to a favorite place, there is always something new waiting to be discovered.
