Your kids will only be this little once.
One day they’ll stop asking you to swim with them.
Stop reaching for your hand.
Stop believing family trips are the best thing in the world.
You’ll never run out of bills to pay.
There will always be another payment due.
Another reason to wait.
Another “maybe next year.”
But childhood doesn’t wait.
They grow.
They change.
The phase you’re in right now becomes the one you wish you could relive.
The bills will still be there when you get back.
