As you know a recent forensic financial audit raised concerns about the integrity of the Town’s IT systems. As a result, the Town hired Advanced Technology Investigations to investigate these concerns and assist with necessary data recovery. The Town has engaged the law firm of Sands Anderson PC to supervise the IT investigation and to perform an independent workplace investigation. Out of respect for the independence of the investigation, the Town will not exercise control over the investigators. Since this is now an ongoing legal investigation, the Town is limited in what it can share at this time, but will inform the public once the investigation is complete and provide any appropriate updates at that time.
