Three years ago, I was sailing on the Harmony of the Seas, declaring myself to be in my happy place. While some cruise lines will be a better fit for your personality than others, there is still an opportunity to make the experience what you want it to be, to a large extent. You are looking at my happy place in this picture. You won't find me at the sail away parties, sunning myself by the pool on a sea day, or dancing the night away. I'm into the spa, the destinations, and yes, staring at the ocean and taking deep breaths from right on my own balcony.

People love cruising. There has always been a really high rate of repeat cruisers, because once you go, you're often hooked!
Through all my years in the travel business, I have encountered a few cruise haters here and there. Most of them have never actually been on a cruise and have perceptions that may apply to some experiences but not all. But a few have broader complaints which are also easily dispelled or outweighed with a little homework. I feel like this powerful number outweighs quite a few complaints. Over 300k of these jobs were in the USA.
Cruising makes the world a better, happier place for many reasons!

Only on rare occasions have I ever been able to actually pack light. The urge to over pack "just in case" is very strong for me.
