Tea Tour of England: we arrived in London yesterday and toured Windsor Castle before our welcome dinner. After a good night’s sleep, we enjoyed a great breakfast before gathering outside our hotel to await our private mini bus. Surprise! No bus showed up, despite confirming our fully pre-paid booking with me last night. We walked a block to the train station and bought tickets to Bath. This trip includes two train changes…not easy with all our luggage, but everyone was a good sport and some lovely kind people helped us along the way moving our 150 pieces of luggage on and off trains. Just kidding, it was probably only 30 pieces of luggage, but it felt like more. Several trains were canceled, which not only made the trip longer, but also very crowded, as in standing room only. Our tea was able to be rescheduled for late afternoon so it all ended up okay, but what an adventure! I’m so thankful for easygoing, flexible tour participants who kept on smiling! We’ll laugh about it someday! Here’s hoping tomorrow goes a lot smoother!

Begin the holiday season with flair! Join us for a festive trip to Victoria, British Columbia. As we sail through Puget Sound aboard the Victoria Clipper, seated comfortably in their Comfort Class, we'll enjoy a light breakfast of tea, scones, and yogurt parfaits.
Upon arrival in Victoria, we'll check our luggage at our centrally-located hotel, then stroll to the renowned Empress Hotel for their festive afternoon tea.
Next, we'll take private transport to the acclaimed Butchart Gardens to marvel at the Twelve Days of Christmas light display. Later, we'll gather in the Dining Room for an exquisite dinner at the original Butchart family residence, before being chauffeured back to our hotel.
The following morning, after a hearty breakfast, there will be time for holiday shopping before we depart on the Clipper at 12:30 pm.
The tour starts and concludes at The Secret Garden, eliminating any traffic or parking concerns. Shuttle service to and from Seattle is provided.
Cost is $895 per person, based on double occupancy. If you do not have a travel companion, we will try to pair you with another unaccompanied traveler.
