This Earth Day feels especially meaningful. As outdoor guides, the natural world isn’t just where we work — it’s where we thrive and make community. The lands and waters give us our joy, purpose, and life. It’s such an honor and joy to walk, bike, paddle, and ski this beautiful Earth with you all.

We want to give a heartfelt thank-you to the conservation organizations working year-round to preserve the lands and waters we all love. If you’re looking for a way to give back, we encourage supporting local organizations like Kestrel Land Trust and the Connecticut River Conservancy here in Massachusetts. Every action counts and we are stronger together. We hope you can celebrate this Earth Day with some intentional time outside and by gathering in community. See you on an adventure soon 🌞🚣🏽‍♂️

Getting outside in the wintertime has tremendous positive effects on our health and wellbeing. Exercising outdoors in the winter makes our heart muscles stronger because they have to work harder to pump blood and maintain the body’s temperature. It also increased circulation in your face and whole body, reducing inflammation and making your skin more vibrant. Cold air boosts brain activity, improves focus, and helps you think more clearly. Vitamin D from the sun reduces stress, promotes healing and immune support, and increases our sense of well-being. Have we made our point? Haha. GET OUTSIDE! Do it often! Take your friends, or make new ones!

Join us this weekend for some much-needed outdoor winter adventures. You will not regret it, and our hearts will thank you :) Here's what we're offering:

The Beaver Moon this November is named after our beloved beaver friends who build their dams to prepare for winter during this time of year. This is the fourth and final supermoon of the year and is expected to appear 14% larger than normal in the night skies! The best time to see the Beaver Moon is on Friday, Nov 15th at 4:29pm. We’ve got a Notchview Hike on Friday which overlaps with this peak viewing, and a Mt Norwottuck hike on Saturday to get those sweeping valley views along with the supermoon. So excited to see you there!
