You need 25lb line to catch these . Ocean fish don’t play. These fish are everywhere and still so much more restrictions compared to Mutton snapper that are a lot less plentiful.

Just because we have a bad ass boat and top of the gear fishing tackle, doesn’t mean we can make the fish bite every trip. Some days the fish aren’t hungry and we come back to dock with nothing. That’s why it’s called Fishing, and not catching. I’m sure many can relate.
