🚗 GOLF CART SAFETY REMINDER 🚔

Planning to cruise around Surfside Beach in your golf cart? Make sure you know the rules!

✅ Drivers must be at least 16 years old and have a valid driver's license.
✅ Golf carts must be registered, insured, and display a valid permit decal.
✅ Children 12 and under must be properly secured with a seat belt.
✅ Golf carts equipped with permanently installed headlights and taillights may be operated at night.
✅ Golf carts without lights may only operate from 30 minutes before sunrise until 30 minutes after sunset.

🚫 Golf Carts are not allowed on the beach.

Golf carts are only permitted on roads with posted speed limits of 35 MPH or less and must comply with all South Carolina laws and Surfside Beach ordinances.
