What a fantastic evening at our June 5th First Fridays on the Lawn concert!

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us at the Surry County Pavilion for an evening filled with great music, delicious food, and community fellowship. Seeing neighbors, families, and friends come together to enjoy a beautiful summer evening is what makes events like these so special.

A special thank you goes to Blackout for delivering an outstanding performance and keeping the crowd entertained throughout the evening. Your energy and talent helped make the event one to remember! 🎸🎤

We would also like to thank all of our food trucks and vendors for providing a wonderful variety of food, treats, and refreshments that helped make the evening even more enjoyable.

Behind every successful event is a dedicated team, and we are grateful to the many County employees who worked hard to help plan, set up, and support the concert.

A special thank you to the Surry County Sheriff’s Office for providing an on-site presence and helping ensure the safety and well-being of all who attended, and to the Surry County Sanitation Department for helping maintain a clean, beautiful, and litter-free venue throughout the evening. Your support played an important role in making this event a success.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came out and spent the evening with us. Your support, enthusiasm, and community spirit are what make First Fridays on the Lawn such a wonderful tradition.

Thank you to everyone who made our very first First Fridays Free Summer Concert of 2026 a success!

We’re incredibly grateful to all who showed up, set up, organized, and helped clean up. A special thank you to our vendors, musicians (TheCompany.Sound), and the team behind the scenes who brought this event to life. We also appreciate the continued support from the Surry County Sheriff's Office - Virginia, the Surry County Board of Supervisors, and County Administration.

And of course—thank you to everyone who came out and spent the evening with us. Your support is what makes events like this possible.

Join us next time at the Surry County Pavilion for another great evening of live music. Bring your chairs, blankets, or just relax on the lawn—whatever makes you comfortable.
