A few weeks back we did a little winter camping in Rigby while in the U.P. The sun was out, the snow was melting, the wind and lake behaved for a perfect day of agate hunting. The rock gods smiled upon us. We couldn’t help but enjoy the last of the icebergs in our dry suits.

It’s hard to believe Thursday marked one month on the road! 27 nights in the Ambo (3 in an Airbnb), 5 rides, 3 flights, 18 hikes, 1 climb, about 5,000 miles, and all the burritos we could find. Not too bad 😉

We made a new friend! The “Swiss Family” brought their rescue rig from you guessed it, Switzerland and plan to spend the next 3 years traveling around north, central, and south America. This family of 4(!!) was testing out their rig on the jeep roads of Sedona in preparation for driving through Mexico. Swapping stories and builds with other wonderful humans is exactly why we hit the road.
