🎶 Summer Sundays start this weekend in Swansboro! 🌊

The Seaside Arts Council's annual Swanfest Concert Series returns Sunday, June 7, with FREE live music at the Harry C. Pugliese Jr. Pavilion in Historic Downtown Swansboro.

For 17 years, Swanfest has brought families, friends, visitors, and music lovers together from across Onslow County and beyond for summer evenings by the waterfront in Historic Downtown Swansboro.

🌊🐢 Sea turtle nesting season is underway along our beautiful coast! Captain Darryl of Marsh Cruises recently captured a few amazing glimpses of what you'll expect to see on Bear Island at Hammocks Beach State Park, reminding us just how special our coastal ecosystem is.

Here are a few tips that can help protect nesting sea turtles and their hatchlings...

✅ Fill in holes and flatten sandcastles
✅ Remove beach gear at the end of the day
✅ Pick up litter and dispose of it properly
✅ Use red light on the beach at night
✅ Give nesting turtles and hatchlings plenty of space

These small actions make a big difference for one of our coast's most beloved visitors. 💚
