Here is why you need to prepare now. When cellphone and internet is down, you need a GMRS or HAM radio to communicate. When stores loose power for a week, food starts to become unavailable if they can even take your money. Be sure to have cash on hand and get your food storage supply squared away. Have plenty of extra cans of gas on hand to get around and run chainsaws to clear fallen trees. Having stored drinking water is also important when there is mass flooding.

At 614 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles west of Coal Creek Mine, or 13 miles north of Wright, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

This severe storm will be near... Hilight Gas Plant and Coal Creek Mine around 620 PM MDT.
