✨ Behind the Scenes at Hurd Creek Cabin ✨

We made it back home on Sunday after spending several long (and very rewarding!) days at the cabin getting everything wedding-ready, and we couldn't be more excited for what's ahead. We had 2 little supervisors to make sure we stayed on track 😊

So much has been accomplished over the past week:
🌿 Extended the road and created a dedicated parking area
🌿 Installed new gravel paths leading to the ceremony site, reception area, and creek
🌿 Installed our beautiful new entrance sign
🌿 Cleaned up downed logs and freshened up the property
🌿 Placed the handcrafted log benches at the ceremony site
🌿 Hung string lights over the reception area
🌿 Unpacked and organized all of our wedding inventory—including chairs, tables, linens, patio heaters, and so much more!

It's amazing to see our vision continue to come to life. Every project, every detail, and every improvement is done with the hope of creating a beautiful, peaceful place where couples can celebrate one of the biggest days of their lives.

We still have a few finishing touches ahead, but we're getting so close, and we can't wait to welcome our first couples to Hurd Creek Cabin!

Our flagstone aisle is nearly complete and the reception site excavation is finished!
Electric is next followed by the concrete pour at the reception site. It is so exciting to see our vision come to life!
