The Perfect Downtown Tahlequah Getaway

The Spring Street Hideaway, a Modern bungalow in Downtown Tahlequah, OK. Originally the Dari Barn Restaurant (1963), this 2 bed 1 Bath home is as close as you can get to Downtown Shopping, Restaurants, and Nightlife. Just off Main Street you will be walking distance to NSU, the Tahlequah Pavilion, community events in Norris Park, and more.

Modern Features/Design, comfortable living, and a spacious fenced in patio perfect for relaxing or getting together with friends. This is also home of the nearly world famous Harry Mural.

The space

Fully remodeled from top to bottom this commercial building in the Heart of Downtown Tahlequah has been converted to a comfortable, modern 2 bed 1 bath home.

Livingroom - The livingroom features a leather recliner couch, loveseat, and a 55" Roku TV with almost all major sports channels and a netflix account.

Bedrooms - Both bedrooms have queen beds, dressers, and 32" Roku TVs. The master has a desk/makeup area.

Kitchen - The kitchen has been completely remodeled and includes a dishwasher, range, disposal, fridge with ice and filtered water, cooking utensils, Keuring Coffee Maker and K-Cups, Toaster, a complementary bottle of local wine, and more!

Patio - There is a large amount of private space for relaxing or entertaining! There is a full metal privacy fence around the entire back patio area. Plenty of seating, patio umbrellas, to get away from the sun, and hanging string light for evening hang outs. Includes a 4 Burner propane grill and a co****le set if you plan on celebrating graduation, NSU football, or just the fact that it’s the weekend.

History - Originally the Dari Barn Restaurant, this building has been converted to a Modern Downtown Bungalow. Famous for their Curly Q French Fries, Burgers, and malts, The Dari Barn was the local hangout for kids walking downtown after school in the 60's and 70's..

The Mural - Surely one of the most amazing murals ever created, Harry was painted by local artist Amber Watson. The mural is an homage to the fun loving and eclectic personality of our town.

Owners - Steven and Bayly Wright purchased the property and coordinated the remodel in 2018. Steven is a local realtor at CENTURY 21 Wright Real Estate and Bayly works in Cultural Tourism at the Cherokee Nation. They are purveyors of all things awesome, this is reflected in every aspect of The Spring Street Hideaway.
