🏰 Planning a first Walt Disney World trip? A few things changed in 2026 that are easy to miss — FastPass+ is gone (it's Lightning Lane now), DINOSAUR closed, DAS registration works differently, and Park Pass rules got updated in April.

Here's what actually matters if you're planning a trip — link in the comments below! 👇

Everyone's going to Japan in 2026, and honestly? The hype is earned.

Record 42.7 million visitors last year. A weak yen that makes your dollar stretch. Cherry blossoms, incredible food, and trains that run to the exact minute. It's the most-wanted trip of the year.
But Japan changed a LOT of rules in 2026, and most first-timers don't find out until it costs them. The fake "JESTA" scam. A departure tax that just tripled. Tax-free shopping flipping completely on November 1. And the bucket-list experiences that sell out before your plane even lands.

I'll be straight with you: I haven't been to Japan yet. But planning trips is what I do for a living, and a travel advisor's value isn't a passport full of stamps (though I love looking at mine!). It's knowing how to plan. I did the homework the way I'd do it for any client, and I put it all in one place.

When your travel advisor is on vacation, "hard at work" takes on a whole new meaning. 🤫✈️
I’m usually terrible at sitting still, but it turns out my thoughts prefer a private cabana view and ocean breezes. Highly recommend adding a little "50 shades of blue" to your calendar this year! 🌴🌊✨

If Croatia has been sitting on your travel list, this is your sign to actually start planning it.

New post covers the five main Dalmatian Coast islands honestly — no "hidden gem" nonsense, just real talk about which ones are right for families, which ones are worth the ferry ride, and how to stop the 47-tabs-open spiral before it starts.

Planning with me is free. That part is not a typo.

Real talk: most Croatia itineraries fail before the trip even starts.

People try to squeeze in too many islands, underestimate ferry time, and end up spending more of their vacation in transit than actually anywhere. New post breaks down exactly how to build an itinerary that doesn't do that — including the one universal rule I give every client before they go.

Croatia sounds dreamy until you open a browser to start planning and suddenly it's midnight and you've got 14 tabs open and still don't know which islands to actually book.

New post does the work for you. Honest breakdowns of the five main Dalmatian Coast islands, including which ones are actually good for families and which ones are beautiful but absolutely not the vibe with kids, plus how the ferries actually work and how to build a real itinerary without burning yourself out in transit.

Honest question, is Croatia on your 2026 travel list?

Because if it is, June and September are your windows. The water is warm, the crowds are manageable, and the prices haven't hit their August peak. Once July hits it's a different destination entirely.

If you've been on the fence, drop your questions below. Happy to help you figure out if Croatia is the right trip for you.

Dubrovnik is one of the most beautiful places you will ever stand. It's also one of the most regulated tourist destinations in Europe right now, and the rules catch first-timers off guard every single season.

City Walls require advance booking. Certain traffic zones will fine you for entering without a permit. And dragging a rolling suitcase across the Stradun is a fast way to make enemies with the locals.

None of this is hard to navigate. You just have to know about it before you go. I broke it all down on the blog.

Croatia has been on everyone's "someday" list for years, and 2026 is genuinely the year to go. United just launched a direct flight from Newark to Split (no more layovers), Dubrovnik has new rules that will ruin your trip if you don't know about them, and the timing question is more important here than almost anywhere else in Europe.

I broke it all down on the blog. What's new, where to base yourself, who this trip actually works for, and what to expect from the beaches (spoiler: not what most people picture).

Also teasing something personal: my parents are from a tiny Croatian island called Susak that doesn't have a hotel, doesn't make the guidebooks, and is one of the most special places I've ever been. That post is coming next week and I cannot wait to write it.

🎃 IT'S OFFICIAL — Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2026 dates just dropped!

The party runs August 7 through October 31 on select nights, and the ticket window is tight:
🎟 May 5: Early access for Disney Resort guests
🎟 May 12: Open to everyone else

What’s new this year? 🌀 Stitch is taking over Tomorrowland with an ever-changing dance party (the theme swaps every time he changes his costume!).

💀 The Cadaver Dans are back, and the Sanderson Sisters are headlining the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular.

Travel Advisor Tip: Skip the October weekends if you want lower crowds and better pricing. Target August Tuesdays or mid-September weeknights instead. Same candy, way more breathing room. 💜

I’ve broken down the full calendar and my top picks for "best nights to go" on the blog!
