We hope that Magnolia Guest House provides you more than just a comfortable accommodation. Our desire is that you experience the comforts of homesteads-past and reflect on the safe emotions of the “merged memories” of our Mothers, Grand Mothers, Aunties and Best Friends. Our decor is a collection of hand-me downs, hand-me overs and finds from auctions, estate sales and flea markets.
We know it’s quite eclectic, we hope you feel the love of our favorite-picks and can detect our tastes, our combined personalities, our career paths and our travels!

Why Magnolia Guest House:
Before we took this on, and after a brief tour of this large home on the corner of 2nd street, with its long history and links to so many families of this area, we were walking through all the areas and dreaming of what kinds of businesses that could merge in this space. We firmly decided to convert the living quarters on the second story to be a Guest House and we wanted to name it something charming, historical and romantic; so what better name than to honor the lovely old Magnolia trees in the front yard! In fact, the entire building is namesake of those vintage trees: Magnolia PROJECT & Marketplace.

is a collaborative community space bringing local talent together to provide creative events and educational experiences within a unique retail shopping environment. Magnolia PROJECT will focus on the promotion of well being, healthy lifestyles,
and the ART of giving back.
