Happy to report 3 things about last weekend's RETURN of the Tally Brew Bus, which took a group of 30 to the Panacea Beer and Oyster Festival 🦪 🍺 - marking our first trip in 2 years!:

1. We had a BLAST. Great group. Great music 🎶 on the bus. And we drank some great beers on the way up and back. 😋

2. Everyone got home safe. 💪🏻

2. On our way BACK to meet the bus after the fest, guess who we ran into??? None other than Florida Senator Loranne Ausley! And guess what she did??? She took our group photo! 📸 And then guess what she did? She turned the camera on herself and took a selfie with us! 🤳 😁🥰 🇺🇸

Such an awesome way to end a fun day!

Our next trip will be in early May when we start our once-a-month tours to places like the Forgotten Coast, Sopchoppy, Blountstown, Lake City & Campbellton! Stay tuned for details on that soon!

Our first ticketed Brew Bus tour since the pandemic began in March 2020 goes down THIS Saturday when we load up a bus from our friend and new Five Star Limousine and head to the Panacea Beer and Oyster Festival!

The cost is $40 per person, and we will depart from OCBC Tallahassee at 11 am and return at 5 pm. When you consider an Uber to and from Panacea is roughly $130 round trip, this is the safest, most inexpensive, and most FUN way to get to and from the fest. We'll be bottle sharing the whole way - can't do that in an Uber! 😎

🦪🍺 COUNTDOWN TO THE PANACEA CRAFT BEER & OYSTER FESTIVAL: 5 Days! 🦪🍺

Ok, North Florida and South Georgia ... now that Big Bend Brewfest is complete, time to turn our attention to the NEXT fest on the calendar for : The Panacea Beer and Oyster Festival!

It all goes down THIS Saturday - March 26th - from 12-4 pm at Wooley Park in Panacea. (12 pm is the Early Entry/VIP time and General Admission begins at 1 pm.)

This photo is a look at all the breweries that are pouring - not including a half dozen local home brewers taking part - and the cost of tickets are as follows:

- General Admission - $25
- Early Entry - $35
- VIP - *Sold Out*
- Tallahassee Brew Bus ride to the fest - $40 (reserve your seat by emailing is at [email protected] or [email protected])

IMPORTANT NOTE: You cannot buy tickets for this event AT the gate or on the day of. We cannot stress this enough: If you don't purchase ahead of time, you're gonna be SOL. For real.

The reason being is the oyster farmers and breweries in attendance need to be able to plan for how many oysters and how much beer to bring, so the festival - which is a combination of Brews By The Bay and the Panacea Oyster Festival - had to set an attendance capacity this year.

It's been almost 2 years to the day since our last post, Tallahassee.

Thanks, pandemic ... 🙄

But for ALL the Randy Ortons out there who thought the Tallahassee Brew Bus was dead ...

Our FINAL tour we can before the shutdown was to the SGI Chili Cookoff.

And while we remain grounded for the time being, we wish our friends at the Cookoff the best of luck running a scaled-back version on this North Florida tradition.

We hope to have a HUGE group ready to come see you in 2022!

Hope our has been doing well!

Sorry for the lack of updates over the last few months, but with the Brew Bus grounded since our last trip March 7 to the SGI Chili Cook-Off -- and the world as we know it changing drastically a week later -- there hasn't been much to report.

However, hopefully you read the part in the Tallahassee Beer Society's latest column about how the Tally Brew Bus WILL be back.

We just need to ensure two things before we resume operations:

1) It's safe for all parties involved -- guests, driver and businesses, and ...
2) Florida breweries are once again fully reopen -- with no sign of being shut back down.

In the meantime, happy birthday to the TLH Beer Society -- and ! 🚌🎉🍻

We wanted our awesome craft beer scene to give those living here a sense of pride, and those who had moved away something exciting to come home to.
