**FLYING OUT OF ATL AIRPORT 3/22**

I just got through TSA at the world’s busiest airport during the most trying time for TSA and travelers and I’m giving you the real-time report so you are informed.

Here’s what you need to know:

1. Arrive AT LEAST 4 hours early.
Don’t be nonchalant about this. Be very chalant!! Showing up 2 hours before your flight and being mad at the line is not the move, friend.

2. ICE agents are definitely present. They are mainly standing around, trying to be helpful directing people and answering questions. Nothing chaotic at this time.

3. Make sure your backup charger is charged especially if your boarding pass is on your phone. Don’t let that battery die in line. Please, friend.

4. Digital ID and CLEAR lines are NOT open on the North and South Terminal. It’s Precheck only. You CAN check bags via digital ID at the downstairs check-in, but don’t expect to skip the line up top.

5. It’s a lot but it’s actually pretty organized, at least on the North side. Delta staff and airport workers are genuinely doing a great job keeping things moving. There’s a reason it’s the most efficient airport (regardless of your feelings about ATL airport, this is a data led fact). They’re handing out water and cheering people on at different points like it’s a marathon😂. I also have the benefit of being part of the morning crew. I’d hate to be there late afternoon evening when people are tired.

Shout out to TSA workers. We are so grateful for your service and pray the government gets this sorted soon so y’all can get paid🙏🏾 you deserve better.

My mom is aiding and abetting a kidnapper! Perimenopause took my old body and is holding it hostage.

Here’s what I’m trying to do to get it back:

1. Walking for 30 mins - 1 hour a day. I definitely slept on walking it it helps tremendously. I walk with a 16 lb weighted vest. I was doing it 3 days a week but trying to increase to at least 5
2. Hitting my macros. I am personally trying to eat 150g of protein, 40g of fat, and 120g of carbs. If you’ve been avoiding carbs, friend that might be why you have an attitude…you need carbs!
3. Using an estradiol patch. I’m trying to restart my estrogen and tell my body to put my fat back where it got it from - my b***y

I’ve been lifting weights since I was 20 so that’s not new for me but if you’ve aren’t currently doing it, please add weights to your routine!

Ok how do you find the defendants on this one?

Chile don’t get me to lying.

I def was saying that I was being 80%-90% consistent but when I started tracking things daily. The results determined THAT WAS A LIE.

I FELT like I was being very consistent but feelings aren’t facts. Data? Now that’s facts.

I’m making an honest woman of myself by daily tracking and holding myself accountable.

If you feel like you’re doing all the things and not seeing progress, I’m not calling you a liar but you might not be telling the whole truth. I know I’m not the only one.

Like I said I’m still growing up, I’m not grown yet! My generation grew up on comic books, cartoons, and then Disney gave us the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I’ve been a Marvel fan my whole life and when I was young, I didn’t want to be a princess, I wanted to be a superhero (who did her Princess thing on her off days).

Now, if Nick Fury never shows up, it’s fine b/c the real goal is to be flexible, mobile, and strong for as long as I can be…..but if the Avengers ever start an Auntie/Unc squad, I'm here.

As an aside, another one of my goals this year is to learn to animate with AI so I worked on some of that for this video. It’s fascinating and not as easy as I thought it would be.

I got my 2nd DEXA Scan last week. I like doing this because it tells you far more about your overall health than a scale can. I surely want a slim waist again, but at this age, I have to be concerned about the markers that indicate my body is healthy enough to continue to sustain me - body fat, muscle mass, visceral fat, bone density.

I love this kind of data. It helps me understand what I need to keep doing, stop doing, or do more of.

I’m dealing with an age gap!! Nah I’m not a cougar (or am I...convo for another day😹) I’m talking about a gap in my age and my metabolic age.

I went to get a Dexa Scan so I could get more information about my health and one of my best findings was that those Got Milk commercials worked when I was a kid - I actually became an adult with healthy bones just like the commercial said!

Have you ever gotten a Dexa Scan? Are you thinking about getting one now?

Am I the only one who still doesn’t feel like a full adult, even though we’re over 40?

In a lot of ways, I’m still learning new things, figuring things out, fumbling through life… and honestly, I feel like I should probably be supervised.
