This page will be abandoned. I am no longer part of this project and I no longer wish to add to this home. For me, this project is dead now. I'm grateful for all of you that have fallen along for as long asiah endured this project.

Be well everyone.

I have been so busy the past year and change with getting rental home projects completed that as of today, I get to continue my toil at Amy for a change.

Convincing paint to delicately come off of these original windows in the front bedroom of Amy is a welcome respite from plumbing woes at rental units.

I will primer and reglaze upon completion.

There are also the thick layers on the window mouldings that is also part of this project.

More to come folks. Thank you for being patient.

My project De Jour was to dry place all of the heat registers for the Foyer, Vestibule, hallway and Parlour. Tomorrow I shall solder the parts on the registers while my helper runs the PEX lines. If all goes well, the Parlour shall be heated once again tomorrow evening. It has been over two decades at least since Amy was heated properly in this section.

I was busy today getting the second heating zone plumbed and installed. These heat registers shall have the same custom enclosures as the other registers.

It LITERALLY warms my heart to see a thermostat on the wall in the dining room. It will be switched out for a modern digital unit in the coming days.

I cleared out the Spire Cap so I could seal the windows for the Cold Season. I wish to finally get the heat installed in the Attic as well as finally move into the attic. We pulled, sealed and installed the windows on the Front too of Amy. I also was able to complete the wiring for the bathroom exhaust fan as well as the bathroom lights. I also was able to complete the wiring for all of the wall sconces lights. I also included a pic of the inside top of the Spire roof for your enjoyment.

I installed the heating registers for bedroom number three. The "Art Room" as we fondly call it. It is a bit ugly but all of the heat registers shall be covered with a custom enclosure designed by me to just be part of the decor. Throughout the entire house.

We took some time to clear out the Master Bedroom so we might continue the work here. Time to frame out the bathroom wall and deck the bathroom floor. Complete the installation on the North Wall. I had to seal off the windows for the cold season. Windows are difficult to get right now. I expect to be implimenting the heating system for this bedroom as well as the rest of the zone in the coming weeks.

Some weatherizing for the cold season was sorely needed on the bottom of the Spire windows with the bowed glass windows. Since this evening is to be around 22F (-5.55C, 267.59K), it was high time to do so. 😊

We have some new Staff with their talents and skills now so, let us see how things progress.

Thank you all for for following along.

We had a visit today from my dear Friend Chiara. She gifted us this lovely Art Piece made by her.

We are making progress clearing out the parlor and prepping the Vestibule and 1st floor hallway floor to be tiled as well.

Tomorrow, it is time to primer some walls and prep the press tin walls for painting as well.

Thank you again for following.

Jeff pushes along with the tile work in the Main Bathroom. Eric and I deal with plumbing for the shower connections. Yes, we had to make some alterations to the plumbing works. I am grateful that PEX is bendable.

Slowly the cooking area of the kitchen is coming together as well as installation of the refrigerator.

Each day we make some form of progress even if it is addressing items on one's Punch List. 😊

Thank you all for following along.
