Diania Pimenta, founder of Abora Travel, spent Wednesday evening hiking above Longyearbyen toward the Svalbard Global Seed Vault before boarding her expedition ship north. The three and a half mile climb, done in a group of five at seven in the evening under Svalbard's midnight sun, is one small example of what expedition travel actually asks of a traveler.
