Had the pleasure to fish with my crew from the station today. We had great weather and tides to start the day. Unfortunately someone forgot to inform the fish. We worked quite a few areas only catching a couple at each stop. Our last stop was the magic ticket. We landed around 10 and a few before we called it a day and headed to for lunch. We all had a great time and got to spend some time together away from the station.

Have a great group out recently to celebrate her birthday with friend.
We were met with amazing spring weather.
We took a short ride to an inshore reef to see what was out there. We immediately hooked a nice and boated it for some cool pictures. We managed to catch a few before making a move to target .
We worked the area hard but the snook would not cooperate. We decided to make another move and began immediately catching trout. We boated over 20 trout and landed two over 22".
We took a nice ride back to the ramp and cleaned the fish for a nice birthday dinner.

A few months ago I donated a fishing charter to my son's baseball team to raffle off as a fund raiser.
After a lot of hard work and many raffles tickets sold we held a drawing for the winner.
Well, one of the boys on the team actually won the raffle.
We started looking at dates to get the trip in. We settled on Monday December 22nd since he would be out of school for Christmas break.
Well of all the people he could he a chosen to take he decided to take three of his teammates that also love fishing.
We were met Monday morning with great wintertime Florida weather. We set out to just start catching and allow the day to heat up some.
We began with hitting the Speckled Trout bonanza with every boy landing 5 or 6 fish each.
After a few hours and some warm sunshine we made a move to target Snook. They decided to cooperate and we plucked a few off of docks.
Once the tide started to really come in we made a move to target mangrove snapper. We were once again blessed with a great bite landing around 10 snapper and a few gag grouper to boot.
We made one more move to try and boat a few more snook before we had to head in.
After a bit of searching we found them and boated a few more.

A great day was had by all. Lots of fish and laughs. I hope this is a memory that they will carry for years about baseball being bigger than the game itself.

Had the pleasure to again fish in , benefiting Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
We fished two days and caught over 100 fish in total.
I had great clients and was blessed to be able to have my son mate for us.
Great week, great event and great people.
