🚢 WHAT YOUR TRAVEL ADVISOR DOES BEHIND THE SCENES...

This morning started with a cruise reservation that needed immediate attention.

A change in circumstances meant the original reservation could no longer move forward exactly as planned.

And there was one very important detail...

The cruise deposit was nonrefundable. 😬

This is where having a travel advisor can make a difference.

Instead of simply accepting that the reservation might be lost, I contacted the cruise line, explained the situation, reviewed the available options, and worked with them to find a solution.

The result?

The reservation was able to be adjusted and preserved. 🙌🏾🚢

There are still details that will need to be handled later, and future pricing may change, but my clients now have options they didn't know were available.

And THIS is part of what I do that you don't always see on social media.

Travel planning isn't only about finding a cruise or resort.

Sometimes it's making the phone calls.

Sometimes it's asking another question when the first answer isn't enough.

Sometimes it's understanding supplier policies.

Sometimes it's helping clients navigate changes when life doesn't go according to plan.

And sometimes it's simply being there when something needs to be figured out.

All jokes aside, this is the behind the scenes part of working with a travel advisor that doesn't always make it to social media.

You see the vacation.

You see the cruise ship.

You see the beautiful destinations.

But behind those trips, there's often an advisor handling details, answering questions, communicating with suppliers, and helping clients navigate situations they weren't expecting.

That's part of the service, too. 💙
