Suitcase Adventures!
Episode Two: The Bug Takes on Hollywood Studios
After a much-needed nap to recover from Magic Kingdom, this Bug was ready for round two. If you missed the start of the journey, catch up on Episode One over on the website first!
This time, I traded the Monorail for the Disney Skyliner and headed straight to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Flying over the roads and parking lots with a completely different view of Walt Disney World? 10/10. I swear Tinker Bell dusted me with extra pixie dust. 🧚✨
Here are a few highlights from the afternoon:
🌭 FØØD by Swedish Chef: Kicked things off right with Mini Corn Dogs and a sweet, cold Pond Water Limeade to beat the Florida heat. Pro tip: Always use Mobile Order in advance!
🐿️ Random Magic: Took the long way to Toy Story Land through Animation Courtyard and ended up getting a giant, unscripted high five from Chip. No lines, no reservations—just pure Disney magic.
🎢 Slinky Dog Dash: Fast, fun, and just the right level of coaster excitement for a Bug who prefers not to crawl back into his suitcase in terror.
🥛 Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge: Headed straight for the most important mission of all—trying the Pink Milk and buying a completely unnecessary (and therefore completely necessary) talking Bantha Sipper.
🚨 Rise of the Resistance: A 65-minute wait initially made me cringe, but the immersive queue details made the time fly right by... right before the First Order arrested me. Rude.
🍔 Backlot Express: Refueled with a Smoked BBQ Pulled Pork Burger, then spent way too much time hunting for Hidden Mickeys and spotting Indiana Jones and Roger Rabbit props hidden in plain sight.
By the end of the day, this Bug was officially exhausted and ready to sleep off the miles. But the adventure doesn't stop here. Next up? We're heading to EPCOT.
