Bring your little sweethearts and join us for a fun-filled Valentine’s celebration designed for children and families to enjoy together. Valentine Fun Fair: Crafts, Cookies and Smiles will take place on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Taos Civic Center, located at 120 Civic Plaza Drive, in the El Alcalde Room and El Taoseño Room. This festive evening is the perfect way to create special memories before Valentine’s Day.

Children of all ages are invited to enjoy a variety of creative and Valentine-themed activities in a welcoming, family-friendly environment. This event is FREE, and children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Highlights of the Event:

Valentine’s Craft Making: Young artists will have the opportunity to explore their creativity through Valentine’s craft making using a wide selection of supplies to create handmade cards, flowers, gift boxes, decorations, and other keepsakes to share with loved ones. Parents are encouraged to bring a photo of their child for a special craft.

Cookie Decorating Fun: Children can decorate delicious sugar cookies with colorful icing and sprinkles adding a sweet and tasty element to the celebration.

Face Painting: Face painting is available featuring sparkling Valentine-themed designs such as hearts and more. Donations are kindly accepted. Face painting fun wraps up at 7:00 PM.

Valentine’s Photo Session: Families are also invited to enjoy a Valentine-themed photo session capturing joyful smiles and precious moments with a Valentine-themed backdrop.

Affordable House: In addition, the Town of Taos Planning Department invites everyone to contribute their ideas on the affordable housing we need in the community and to learn about draft housing strategies.

The Town of Taos Events looks forward to celebrating with the community and extends a special thank-you to our generous sponsors for helping make this event possible. This event is sponsored by Acutetremonts Face Painting, Albertsons Market, Town of Taos Planning Department, and True Kids 1.
