Since 1906 tourists by the thousands have enjoyed the scenic beauty of the world famous Dalles of the St. Our fleet of excursion boats include the Taylors Falls Queen and the Taylors Falls Princess. The "Princess" can carry up to 250 passengers with The "Queen" holding up to 149. Both boats are enclosed on the lower level with the upper deck being open. Your licensed boat pilot and tour guide will

point out the unique rock formations that were left behind as the glaciers retreated thousands of years ago. Among the most outstanding formations is the huge stone cross for which the St. Croix" means Holy Cross. Other sites that can be seen from the boats include: the world's largest glacial kettles or "pot holes", Lion's Head, Turk's Head and the highlight of the boat tour, The Old Man of the Dalles - the most outstanding natural rock face you'll ever see. Excursions are offered Daily. Public Dinner Cruises are offered on Wed. Friday & Saturdays. The boats are also available to charter 7 days a week for your special occasion.

"We're coming up on our 10th anniversary. We were married on the most beautiful fall day, 10/01/16. We had our reception at the Wild Mountain chalet.

We were living in Minneapolis at the time, but always found ourselves coming up to the area over the years, whether it was to ride our motorcycle along the country roads, explore the various state parks and trails, or to just enjoy some dinner at one of the many restaurants in the area. We ended up falling in love with the area so much, that we moved to Lindstrom afterwards and have raised our kids as Wildcats! Getting to look out our girls' bedroom windows and see the coffeepot water tower never gets old!

Everyone who joined us on our wedding day has always said what a great and unique venue the paddleboat was and how much fun they had. Julie Samuelson was our coordinator and she made everything go so smoothly.

To celebrate our anniversary every year, we take our girls and go on a paddleboat ride. It's something we will never get tired of. ❤️"

"My husband and I brought our grandsons out for their first trip down the river on the Taylors Falls paddle boat, last summer, 2025. Along for the trip was their aunt/our daughter to join in the fun. To start with, they got a ride to the dock. As we were leaving dock, our oldest grandson listened to the announcement and thought he better get a life jacket, for safety. Of course, his brother wanted one too, with both leaving them on for half of the trip. They loved talking to Captain Scott and checking out the various areas of the boat. Grandpa was great at pointing out special things on the river. Fortunately when they got hungry, Aunt Rachel went to the snack bar for something tasty. They found something to interest them, during the whole trip. We all loved the entire experience."

We're still thinking about our Anniversary Kickoff Cruise last weekend! What an amazing day filled with love, sunshine, team members, family, community and friends. We were thrilled to have family members from the 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th generations on-hand. What a Blessing!

Thank you to everyone who came! We look forward to seeing many more of you as we continue to celebrate our 120th season.

Happy International Family Day! We can't wait to celebrate Taylors Falls Scenic Boat Tours owned and operated by our same family since 1906 (tomorrow - can you believe it??!)

Join us on the first day of our Anniversary Cruises tomorrow at 1 pm and 3 pm for a chance to meet members of the Muller/Raedeke/Frischmon Family as we embark on a celebration of 120 years on the St. Croix River. We'll have live music from 11:30 am - 3 pm at the River Rock Patio!
