Main Street Tehachapi The volunteers organize and produce the Farmer's Market, Trunk or Treat, and Wine Walks each year.

Main Street Tehachapi is a non-profit volunteer organization devoted to improving downtown Tehachapi for the benefit of everyone who lives, works, and visits here. Main Street Tehachapi is a 501 (c)(3) Non Profit Organization dedicated to the revitalization and economic growth of the Historic Downtown District of Tehachapi. Through a series of committees including Economic Restructuring, Promotion

and Design, numerous volunteers brainstorm on ideas to help bring the local community and visitors to Downtown in order to strengthen the economy and image of downtown as a vital and thriving, safe and convenient place to shop and visit.

The Spring & Fall 2025 tour season at Tomo Kahni State Historic Park is now available for booking here: https://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=610
Tomo Kahni is a sensitive archaeological site only accessible by escorted tour. You must sign up through Reserve California in order to be taken on a tour, and the number of openings for each tour is severely limited to minimize impact on the site.
The tour is 3 ¼ miles long, with an elevation change of 800 feet, so it is considered moderately strenuous. The highlight of the tour is the pictographs at inspiration cave and petroglyph.
