As we begin to wind down this 12-day Alaskan adventure, my heart is full. ❤️
When I first started building JMart Travels, I thought I would be booking honeymoons and family vacations. I never imagined that I would someday have the privilege of actually traveling with clients. And I certainly never expected that I would be leading multiple groups each year to bucket-list destinations around the world.
Yet here we are.
This has been the longest trip I’ve ever taken—and my third trip in just the last several weeks. It’s been a whirlwind, but it’s also reminded me how incredibly fortunate I am to get to do this.
I love seeing these places. But I’ve discovered that one of my favorite parts of hosting these trips is experiencing them through the eyes of the people traveling with me.
For many, it’s their first time standing in front of a glacier, seeing Denali, riding a train through Alaska, spotting a whale or visiting places they’ve dreamed about for years. Sometimes they’re places I’ve never experienced before either, and we get to discover them together.
But somewhere along the way, you also get to know the people.
Every traveler has a story.
Over 12 days together, there are breakfasts and dinners, bus rides and train rides, drinks on the ship and conversations in between. You hear about families and careers, celebrations and challenges, places they’ve been and dreams they still have.
And I think that’s the part of this business I never could have anticipated when I started it.
We don’t just get to help people plan vacations. For a few days, we get invited into their lives. We get to share an experience together. And long after everyone goes home, those experiences become another chapter in all of our stories.
What an incredible privilege it is for JMart Travels to have a small part in so many of them. ❤️
To everyone who has traveled with us, trusted us with a trip, or has another adventure coming up: thank you. I don’t take that trust—or this opportunity—for granted.
World-class journeys. Hometown care.
