Yesterday, our Navajo Weaving group did a tour of the rim of Canyon de Chelly and visited Spider Rock from the overlook. This is one of the most spiritual and magical places on earth where Spider Woman wove her web of the universe. We used to camp with our horses right at the base!

We have ust begun our Navajo Weaving adventure beginning in Durango, CO with a visit to Kilgore American Indian Art in Mancos with owner, Kelly Kilgore. What an amazing collection! Photo courtesy of one of the group, Karen Bartlett. We're on our way to Canyon de Chelly to weave with Lynda Teller Pete and Barbara Teller Ornelas at the base of the ruins. This is one of my favorite trips of all!
