We believe that there is a Gutsy Woman inside each of us; one who occasionally needs to make time for herself to refresh and renew her mind, spirit and body. Over the past decade, Gutsy Women Travel has been developing a community of women who have turned to us for the opportunity to recharge their energies in the company of other like-minded women in fascination destinations. Women are traditionally caregivers, regularly placing the needs of everyone else in their lives ahead of their own. Yet it is undeniably important that women take the time to nurture themselves and travel is one of the best ways to do just that!

The countdown to Gutsy Women Travel's 25th Anniversary this coming November begins with my spending the weekend in Ovieda Florida with two Gutsy Women, Pat Wilson and Mary Lou Burgess.

Each discovered Gutsy Women Travel separately. I met Pat "with the hat" on our trip to China in 2007 and that same year Mary Lou found herself on our Tuscany tour. Both booked and met on our Argentina trip in 2010 and the rest is history. Sixteen years followed traveling on various Gutsy Women Travel trips from Japan, Egypt, Morocco. the Amalfi Coast and so much more...

As we celebrated Mary Lou's milestone this weekend, we toasted to the wonderful memories and friendship Gutsy Women Travel has made possible for thousands of women over the past 25 years. Our girl created a community of like minded women who began as strangers and ended up as lifetime friends.
