The second session of the Parish Players (Drop In) Dramatic Improv Group will be tonight from 6:30pm-8:30pm at the Eclipse Grange (home of the Parish Players). The Eclipse Grange's address is 193 Academy Road, Thetford, VT. The theme of the session will be "empathy".

Calling all playwrights! We Need 10-Minute Plays For THE TENS FESTIVAL, 2026!

Types of Plays: Comedies or Dramas must be no more than 10 minutes in length.
Setting: Simple; the festival will offer 6 to 8 plays, and minimal set changes are required.
Deadline for Submission: Midnight Eastern time, May 23rd, 2026.
Notification of Selection: No later than June 20th, 2026.
Performance Dates: October 2026.

How to submit your script:
File format: PDF ONLY!

File name: Name your PDF with the title of the play, a hyphen, and your own last name, e.g. Hamlet-Shakespeare.

Email Scripts to: [email protected] no later than midnight Eastern time on May 23rd, 2026

Email Subject Line: Use the title of the play as the subject line of your email.

Please Note: No more than one script per playwright. We prefer new, unproduced plays; however previously produced and already published original plays will be considered. We will also give preference to "local" (New England) playwrights.

Tomorrow night, come enjoy the first installment of Parish Players new series of staged readings with William Shakespeare's "The Merry Wives of Windsor." Featuring many of your friends and neighbors, Shakespeare's b***y tale of young love, elder lust, and the well deserved pitfalls of masculine entitlement is the perfect way to spend a cozy February evening.

The evening will begin with wine and cheese at 6:45pm, staged reading at 7:15pm at Parish Players' Eclipse Grange Theater, 193 Academy Road, in Thetford, VT.

The Flick, winner of the 2014 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, is coming to Parish Players this June!

"A thoughtful drama with well-crafted characters that focuses on three employees of a Massachusetts art-house movie theater, rendering lives rarely seen on the stage." - Pulitzer Prize Board

​Auditions are Monday February 16th and will be held in a 2 hour block, with performers scheduled in 5 minute time slots. Callbacks will be held on February 17 for approximately 2 hours with the likelihood performers will not be asked to stay for longer than a half-hour.

Time: 6 - 8 PM

Location: Northern Stage Admin & Production Building, 74 Gates St, White River Junction, VT.

The Parish Players will hold our second annual Winter Solstice Celebration on this year's winter solstice, December 21st, at 4:00pm at the Parish Players' Eclipse Grange Theater, 193 Academy Road in Thetford, VT!

Join us for a night of music, laughter, and neighborly love. We will have an open mic for anyone who would like to perform. All performances are welcome, from songs to skits to poetry readings, to anything else you want to share with your fellow solstice partiers! Sign up at the link below if you'd like to perform. You have one more chance to attend the 6th Hunger Benefit Cabaret, tonight at the Parish Player's Eclipse Grange Theater! Come enjoy the musical stylings of your friends and neighbors while helping to support two local organizations keeping our community's most vulnerable members safe, warm, and fed. All proceeds will benefit LISTEN Community Services, and the Vermont Foodbank. Light refreshments provided.

The 6th Hunger Benefit Cabaret's first performance is tonight at 7:00pm! Come enjoy the talents of your friends and neighbors while supporting our Upper Valley community's most vulnerable residents. All proceeds will benefit Listen Community Services and the Vermont Foodbank. Light refreshments provided.

Can't make it tonight? There's one more show tomorrow, Saturday November 22nd! Don't miss this ensemble of local talent.

Both presentations of the 6th Hunger Benefit Cabaret will be held at Parish Players' Eclipse Grange Theater, 193 Academy Road, in Thetford Vermont. Please park at Thetford Academy. Accessible parking is available right at the Grange.

The 6th Hunger Benefit Cabaret is tomorrow at Parish Players! Come enjoy the musical talents of your Upper Valley friends and neighbors while helping to feed our community at the same time! All proceeds will benefit the Vermont Foodbank and Listen Community Services. Come do good in good company!

The 6th Hunger Benefit Cabaret will be performed tomorrow, Friday November 21st and again on Saturday November 22nd, both at 7:00pm at Parish Players Eclipse Grange Theater, 193 Academy Road, in Thetford Vermont.
