This is the question that everyone is asking and I know the answer. Are you ready?
✨The correct answer is there is no answer because NO ONE knows what is going to happen with the virus. But you scrolled down to see the answer didn't you? That's what these posts and articles floating around are trying to do. They create a crazy headline (I saw an article yesterday that posted a future reopening date as late as 2021) to get you to click and read their article. These articles are COMPLETE speculation and there is no truth because no one can predict the future.

✨Here is what I know for a fact.

#1 Walt Disney World is not taking any new reservations for dates prior to June 1, 2020.

#2 Walt Disney World is offering FULL REFUNDS or the ability to change dates for all vacation packages affected by the recent closures. I have been guiding my clients through every step of this process.

Disney has one of the most flexible cancellation policies of any vacation company I book. The normal policy is a $200 deposit with full refund up until 30 days before travel when the final payment is due. That policy has been temporarily extended so final payment is not due until 7 days before travel.

All of this means more flexibility for Disney guests. You can start planning your vacation and if social distancing continues, you will be able to safely change your plans.

#3 I will NEVER make announcements until the information is official. Mad Hatter Adventures is an Earmarked Disney Travel Agency and that means we are held to the highest standards. Sometimes we get a heads up before a particular announcement is released but we never post until Disney has made an announcement. We are professionals and what you hear is straight from Disney. We don't create posts based on speculation just to get a like or a share.
