Went on our annual fall camping trip to the Eastern Sierra last weekend. Hit it right at peak yet again. The colors were breathtaking! The temps were slightly warmer than usual, which was nice for tent camping, but there was still a crispness in the air. Hopped on a boat to escape the leaf-peeping crowds and enjoyed the views from a whole new perspective. Love our annual tradition! Do you have any places you return to again and again?

Route 66 turns 99 today! We've driven portions of the Mother Road on several occasions and had a great time seeking out destinations along the route that inspired places and scenes in Disney-Pixar's CARS.

Why yes, I will travel for cheese! 🧀
Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese is an award‑winning, women-owned, sustainability-driven artisan cheesemaking farm in beautiful Tomales Bay. While you can buy their cheese in local grocery stores, we simply couldn’t pass by on our way to Point Reyes and not sample the goods and pick up some personal favorites to enjoy! Their rich, nutty Gouda is ah-mazing, and the Tomarashi is unlike any cheese I’ve had before. The key to the flavor is Shichimi Togarashi, a Japanese spice blend containing chili flakes, nigella, chili powder, orange peel, ginger powder and nori. So good!! 🤤
