We offer guided kayaking tours for $49 per person. My name is Scott. Here is a little backstory on me...I grew up in Pinellas County, and have been boating, fishing, and kayaking at Shell Key Preserve since I was a kid. Much of the county has been developed and built up, but the natural beauty and slow pace of the preserve have stayed the same. My mission is to share this beautiful ecosystem with

you at a price that anyone can afford because I enjoy sharing the Florida I grew up with and making new friends. I look forward to giving you the best kayak tour in the Tampa Bay area.

Spring is blossoming into summer, which means nesting season is in full swing. Remember to be respectful of wildlife nesting on our beaches.

● Never enter a nesting area or disturb a nest.

● Do not run through flocks of birds on the beach or chase them off. Many of our birds are protected. Additionally, there are many dutiful Papa birds out there gathering food to take back to Mama, who is sitting on the nest.

One of my favorite perks of working in the preserve is getting to see all the wildlife interact.

We humans could learn a lot from nature. The ways that they interact, and the ways that they give each other space is always a gentle reminder to be a better human.
