Wonderful comfortable, beautifully decorated home ; felt spacious and open. Gorgeous view of meadow, stream and trees. Very private. Lorie has thought of everything you might need. It's clear she loves hosting people. Her husband even prepared the outdoor fireplace for us although we didn't have a chance to use it due to rain. The place was so inviting and cozy with the view and the fireplace we didn't even mind staying inside when it rained. We will definitely stay here again. One of the best Airbnb I've stayed in and that's all I ever stay in. Thank you Lo

We loved hosting Jason and his sweet family in our Little Bird Cottage. Here is their review:
There are far too many ways to commend Lorie, her family, and their cottage, it's hard to know where to begin! This spot is wonderful on its own and close to grand adventure spots with hiking, biking, and swimming holes. The children in our crew (5yo & 8yo) splashed in the creek (that runs through the property!), lounged in the hammock, fashioned their own games from the co****le set, revealed in nightly marshmallow roasts at the firepit, and sighted the largest snails we've ever seen. The kitchen and bath may be the best appointed of such spaces that we've enjoyed at a getaway rental - we lacked nothing. Lorie's communication was thoughtful, helpful, and thorough. She (and her family) are such gracious hosts. I'll wager the view from the porch is fantastic year-round and expect we will return in the three seasons yet to come and find out for ourselves!

It has been a great Summer at Lovey Dovey Farm! The gardens are doing great, and Little Bird Cottage has been full of guests all season. We have loved hosting the couples, the friend groups, and the families on our farm this summer.
Our fire pit area has developed with a great picnic table and a cast iron grill perfect for cooking over coals. Sawmill Creek is the perfect-sized stream for kids to play in.
The gardens have been good, considering we have had too much rain and an extended dry period. It is dry right now. The showers around the County have missed our garden. Maybe, we will get some rain soon.
Our second cottage is finished and furnished. We still need landscaping, but we are working on that. We will be offering it for nightly rental soon. I would love to show it off and will post some photos soon!
