The Mount Washington Cog Railway extends summit trips through November 1! 🚂

Favorable weather is giving visitors more time to reach New England’s highest peak. The Mount Washington Cog Railway is extending two-hour round-trip summit excursions through Sunday, November 1, replacing previously scheduled mid-mountain trips to Waumbek Station.

Departure times remain unchanged, making it easy for guests to keep their travel plans. Trains depart daily at 9:00 a.m., 10:15 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:45 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m.

Halloween weekend is almost here! 🎃 Here are three ways to celebrate around the Lakes Region:

🐺🎃 Celebrate Howl-O-Ween at the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center on Saturday. Meet nocturnal animals, enjoy Halloween crafts and activities, and see the resident animals enjoy pumpkin-themed enrichment along the Live Animal Exhibit Trail. Costumes are encouraged!

🏍️🎃 Head to Pumpkins & Pistons at Laconia Harley-Davidson® on Saturday for a day of Halloween fun and full-throttle energy, featuring a costume contest, trick-or-treating, flash tattoos, food and drink vendors, giveaways, prizes, and more.
