🎉 We’ve reached 100 followers! 🎉

That’s a milestone for us!
We started this as a fun family summer project and we are still at the very beginning. Seeing that 100 people want to join us on this adventure is awesome!

This is one of the easiest, yet most rewarding hikes we’ve found close to home. Accessible for all ages, and very doable with a short amount of time. Charleston Falls Preserve will quickly become one of your favorites when you need a little nature break.

Charleston Falls Preserve is very accessible to many ages and hiking abilities.

A long time favorite of ours, every season is a little different. The day after Memorial Day 2026 provided the perfect amount of water and greenery.

While the stairs to the bottom of the falls and the mildly difficult path to the other side may not be doable for everyone, we find it stroller friendly, dog friendly, and I feel confident enough to say it is wheelchair friendly to this scenic overlook, as long as you are aware of slight inclines on the path and hard packed dirt.

Definitely a place worth going in Ohio!

A quick tour of Sweet Tooth Candy in Englewood, OH. So many selections and a fun little stop! Free parking in the lot behind the store, and an entrance close by. You’ll find cotton Candy Im crazy flavors, glass bottles of soda in even crazier flavors, a few retro sweet treats you might have forgotten about, and somethjng to snag for quick, unique gifts!

Attention Dayton locals! We want to share with you this adorable vintage style coffee trailer: Coastal Brew!

We stopped by today to try it on their second day open. With their beachy feel and fun shore themed drinks, we were not disappointed.

I tend to be a bit of a coffee snob-my iced coffee can’t be TOO sweet…but it needs some sweetness. I tried the Raspberry Shores iced latte and was not disappointed.

My co-pilot went for the Driftwood Dreams Fizz and asked me to go back for a second one as soon as his was gone. Spoiler: I didn’t 😉.

Phew 😮‍💨 SUMMER IS HERE!

That means we need to kick it in gear ⚙️

We are so grateful for all of the positive feedback we’ve gotten so far as we take on this family summer project (although I personally think it’s more of a family CHALLENGE) 🤗.

We are putting together our plan for our videos and could use some input from YOU!

If you have a minute or two to answer any of these questions, we would be so thankful! 😌

1. When you’re planning on going somewhere (parks, tourist attractions, day trips, etc) for the first time, what questions do you wish you had an answer to before you get there? Think 🤔 specifically of the things you say, “well that would have been helpful to know before we came” about.

2. If you live around the greater Dayton, OH area, where do YOU think we should include on our list of places this summer? Be specific 😉.

3. Do you like to have suggestions for easy to pack snacks, gear that we found useful, and ideas for what we would definitely bring with us next time? Or do you honestly figure that out yourself and feel pretty confident?

4. Give us ideas 💡 to light up our inspiration for down the road…you know, after we create the first few cringe worthy, “we are total newbs at this” videos. The sky is the limit: more places in Ohio? A neighboring state? A particular state that’s close or not? Another COUNTRY? We truly love to visit new places!
