It’s been a long 6+ months with back issues, initially hurt my back in early December. Ran my last trip in early February! Finally made the decision to get surgery, laminectomy. After 8 weeks, PT and walking 4 to 5+ miles every morning the last 6+ weeks, I’m finally on the upside!
Today was my first time on the water in 3+ months. No expectations, run the skiff and hope to get a tug! Thanks to Capt Brian Pounds for the ride a long! We crushed um this morning just scouting places we’ve not fish in a long time! Double digit pulls and some quality fish. We even found some tailing reds late morning ! Good times! Been too long since we’ve been out Goonin!
Got home around 1, pool time with my grandson!!! Life is good! best day I’ve had in a long time!
