Loved the Waldorf Astoria Costa TRica Punta Cacique. We were in room #423 on the 2nd floor of building #4. The property has 188 rooms and is built into the side of a mountain so initially a bit of a challenge getting around. Once we learned the shortcuts, we could walk anywhere in under 10 minutes. The resort has golf cart transportation 24/7 which was fast and efficient. The 24/7 fitness center was huge but only had one elliptical machine. A small beach provides watersports. All dining venues were quite nice.

Canada is so much fun! While in Banff enjoy the Top of the Summit with breath taking views.

The Waldorf Astoria in Amsterdam is amazing. The location was perfect. We did the hop on hop off canal/bus pass for 2 days and with the canal stop #4 being 1.5 blocks from the hotel, we could get about anywhere. Depending on what you are planning on seeing, I would do the canal hop on/hop off instead of the bus. The bus really takes you outside of the city, where the canal stops will get you to most of the city sites.
