After two of her sons were diagnosed with sickle cell disease, Dr. Scott saw firsthand how difficult it can be to navigate healthcare, education, and available resources. What began as an idea for her doctoral capstone project grew into an organization dedicated to closing health disparities, empowering families, and helping people access the support they need.
