Welcome to part 2 in my series Exploring the heart of Africa. In Africa, you can experience the unique sight of both penguins and ostriches. The African penguin, known for its distinctive black and white markings, can be found along the southwestern coast of South Africa, at Boulders Beach near Cape Town, where you can observe them waddling along the beach and swimming in the ocean.
On the other hand, ostriches, the world’s largest birds, inhabit various regions across Africa, especially in savannas and open grasslands. It was amazing to watch the males mating “dance” side note the females were not impressed
The contrast between these two species highlights Africa’s diverse wildlife.
