We are incredibly thankful for the opportunity to welcome three outstanding championships to our community and to show, once again, that Topeka can successfully host both national and statewide competitions at a high level.
In March 2026, these events brought 10,195 attendees, generated 8,460 hotel room nights, and created $2,761,731 in direct economic impact for our community.
From the speed of NJCAA Indoor Track & Field, to the energy of NAIA Cheer & Dance, to the tradition and intensity of USA Wrestling - Kansas Folkstyle, these championships filled our venues, supported our local businesses, and showcased the hospitality, teamwork, and pride that make Topeka special.
We are grateful to the athletes, coaches, families, officials, volunteers, venue teams, and community partners who made these events such a success. Every championship gives us another chance to highlight what Topeka does best: create memorable experiences and deliver a first-class host city experience.
This is exactly why sports tourism matters. And we are just getting started.
We are proud of what these events meant for Topeka, and we are excited for even more opportunities still to come.
