I know what I did this summer.

I checked off National Park #31 on my way to visiting all 63. Cuyahoga Valley National Park in Ohio was filled with bird watching, waterfalls, and hiking. Some highlights include:

🐢Wildlife sightings of beaver, soooo many birds, turtles
🌊Ruins of the Ohio and Erie Canalway
💦Gushing waterfalls
🥾Hike among rock formations at the Ledges Trail

Why did I ask you about your weekend? 🗣

I wasn’t just making small talk. I’m actually learning about your activity level so I can plan a trip you’ll truly enjoy.

If I didn’t ask, I might suggest a strenuous hike to the top of Yosemite Fall—over 6 miles with 3,254 feet of elevation gain. In reality, you might prefer a leisurely stroll. In that case, I’d recommend walking around Cook’s Meadow , where you could spot a variety of birds or enjoy Yosemite Fall at ground level. Getting to know you is how I make sure every moment of your vacation feels just right.

💦This tranquil lake takes a bit of a workout to get to. Although relatively flat, the hike was difficult thanks to the 8495 ft start. Beware of mosquitoes!

🏠This humble building was once a bustling laundry operation, run by Chinese workers, for the visitors to this National Park staying in the nearby hotel.

I used to collect stickers as a kid—Hello Kitty, puffy ones, and my favorite: scratch and sniff. As an adult, I’ve traded stickers for National Parks. I’m “collecting” U.S. National Parks. This passion fuels my travel decisions. After the trip, I put a pin for each National Park I visit as you can see in the picture.

I’ve met others on similar quests—visiting all 50 states, touring every MLB stadium, or stepping foot on every continent.
