Honolulu Rainbow Ekiden 10th Anniversary!

The Honolulu Rainbow EKIDEN, hosted annually by JTB Hawaii Travel, is one of Hawaii’s most popular community running events. With approximately 1,500 participants, including runners and supporters, and features a team relay race, a 5K Fun Run & Walk, and a Kids Challenge with a one-mile obstacle course for children ages 5 to 12.

Due to the severe weather across the state, we have postponed the event. The rescheduled 10th Anniversary Honolulu Rainbow EKIDEN will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026. We look forward to celebrating this milestone event with participants and supporters from Hawaii and around the world!

JTB USA Business Travel's Philippines based team hosted a Brighter Earth Project event! The Brighter Earth project allows us to continue to contribute to the local communities with a variety of activities to create a brighter future for everyone.

Our team went to the Precious Heritage Orphanage in an underserved area of Manila. Some of the highlights were playing various games and dancing with the children, with a manager led fundraiser allowing us to donate backpacks filled with school supplies and snacks.

The JTB Americas group recently participated in the Visitor Industry Charity Walk!

Over 40+ employees and their families from JTB Hawaii, JTB Hawaii Travel, Tachibana Enterprises and JTB USA came together to participate in the 2026 Charity Walk. This was an amazing opportunity to support the Visitor Industry and various local non-profit organizations in a fun and active way! JTB USA recently participated in the Los Angeles Travel & Adventure Show on March 7-8 at the Long Beach Convention Center as part of our efforts to promote travel from North America to Japan!

We had a JTB booth, working with the Kansai Tourism Bureau, Gifu Prefecture, the Fuji Hakone Izu Council, Tochigi Prefecture and Tokyo Skytree to showcase different areas and attractions in Japan.

Together, we hosted seminars for travel advisors, samurai and ninja performances, showcased culture, history and tradition to promote the unique areas of Japan. One of our biggest attractions during the event was the free round trip airfare sweepstakes to Japan for those who came to see us at the LA Travel & Adventure show! If you attended, we hope you had a great time, and if you couldn't attend, we hope to see you there next year!
