Been knocked down and beat up but I am still upright.

Here is some miscellaneous flies tied since November around my last post here. I wound up in the hospital for a stretch... a few stretches..and came home by New Years.

Some new parts installed and a few I will just... 😉

November again...

Here is a few flies tied the past few weeks.

Still in business since 1996.

The past year... or few years... have been different.

Things are finishing up with my old house and what the future will hold.

Meanwhile I have been doing small fly tying orders still.

Anyone needs Custom fly orders. Preferably any of the patterns I post is what I am tying these days. Colors and hook sizes can vary per request obviously.

I tied a few steelhead flies and some others for a buddy, and maybe later I'll do an intruder and baby spey order.

Yes. I dipped it... a bunch or wine bottle corks next.
I dipped wood in the past but large pieces in a bin... This is cool and a custom request. A friend from the shows used to make "perfect" dip or poured painted poppers, etc. I always wanted to try this on flies... Always admired Rich Bogardus's work. He inspired me to do these.

I was trying to get a Camouflage look as the customer requested.
I may do a traditional Camouflage as well by hand.

The Doll eyes tho !
I have had dolls eyes forever... uselessly sitting in an organizer box.

Recently one the cool tyers did some Poppers with doll eyes and I had to use a few.

Hey my Friends !

Back at the vise for some small custon Fly orders.

Currently we are recovering from car accident, hospital stays, family deaths, work on house, losging, and everyday life. I am happy to still be above ground tho.

Lots of daily stuff to do so the future is possible 😁

Anyhoo

Hoping to continue tying small custom fly orders and start up some of my sublimation art projects.

Happy Sunday All !

An update on this Page just because some friends and followers may still visit now and then.

My buddy runs The store in Canaan and sell his Antiques and collectables... Stuarts Antiques on 32 Railroad Street in Canaan CT. across from the old theater 🤙

I still bring some items and art there.. but after a few years of recovery from a car accident and then a lung surgery etc. ... my main goal is to keep on healing and truckin'...lots more downsizing on our mulifamily home and working daily on moving to something smaller and away from the cities.. 😊🤙

I still find time to do some miscellaneous art and an occasional custom fly orders if time permits.

And plans on doing some shows and fishing events this season.

As of now I'll be at the Fisherman's Flea this Saturday the 8th of April in Riverton CT...
I'll have my buddy tying some of his flies..a Handful of my flies...some Custom hats...and some miscellaneous used tackle etc... Come on By and say hello !

Grace and I lost our Bella Bear Britton... our Fur Baby...
im devastated... She was a great dog and there for me during my crippling injuries past from almost 10 years ago when I brought her home... until recent...A few days ago she passed in our arms...
The dog was a soft furry rock for me to learn on...
I was blessed with Bella... My old friend Shawn...guide partner gifted my Bella to me years ago... a true Blessing ♥️

Sunday here... gonna head out with the wife and visit Bear's grave and maybe get a coffee...

Have not really used this page since my Car accident in 21...
Then part time at my shop in which my buddy pretty much sells antiques and treasures.

As well as stuff I put in shop.

Im still in the process of healing up but not balancín and walking as well due to car crash. Then separate recovery from lung surgery etc...

But I still grind everyday...

so... if anyone still comes to this page... I will be posting more art, Decals, mugs, flies, ice jigs, jigs, etc. as well as antiques and stuff I repurpose that I have been selling at the Canaan Store where I still bring stuff.

Wishing all of you good health and safety wherever you are. A few miscellaneous fly patterns and tinkering with custom sculpted clay heads for jigs and flies in which I'm making silicon molds of to cast in resin, foam, and/or lead free weighted heads. A Fun work in progress and Pretty cool. 😎
