The Valley Memorial Day Parade will be held in Sayre Borough this year on Monday, May 25, 2026. The parade route has been adjusted this year

The Valley Memorial Day Parade will be held in Sayre Borough this year on Monday, May 25, 2026. The parade route has been adjusted this year due to the streetscape project on West Packer Avenue and South Elmer Avenue (between Packer Avenue and Lockhart Street). The parade will form near the High School and proceed down West Lockhart Street to Desmond Street, then Desmond Street to Hayden Street, then onto Hayden Street to South Elmer Avenue, and then onto South Elmer Avenue ending at Howard Elmer Park. Parking will be prohibited on the parade route but off-street parking will be available in the municipal parking lots.
