Did you know that the record for a Striped Bass caught in Lake Hartwell was an astounding 59.5 pounds? We can’t guarantee you that you will catch a record, but Stripers in the 15 to 30 pound range are caught routinely and that is definitely a fish tale for your friends. Lake Hartwell also has Bluegill, Redbreast, Pumpkinseed and Shellcracker as well as Black Crappie, Largemouth Bass and Hybrid Bass. So no matter what your favorite type of fishing, from a day with the kids to a day in pursuit of that trophy lunker, Lake Hartwell delivers.
